Your train tickets will be delivered at least one day before the tour date to the hotel that you designate.

Remarks: Please refer to your tickets and final itinerary for the train number and time.

We will send the tickets and final itinerary to your accommodation by the day before departure.

 

The day of the tour
Proceed to Tokyo/Shinagawa/Shin-Yokohama Station on your own.

Departure: Tokyo Station/Shinagawa Station/Shin-Yokohama Station

Head to Kyoto by Nozomi Shinkansen (reserved seat) from Tokyo/Shinagawa/Shin-Yokohama Station.
Remarks: Shinkansen times can not be changed once fixed.

 

08:00 – 08:30
Arrival: Kyoto Station Head to New Miyako Hotel individually after arrival.
Go to New Miyako Hotel on your own after arrival.

Kyoto Half-Day Sightseeing

(A bus tour with an English speaking guide /Visits Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kyoto Imperial Palace)
An English speaking tour guide will guide participants on the bus through Nijo Castle,

Kinkaku-ji Temple and Kyoto Imperial Palace.
Remarks: 1. On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed.

On these days, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead.

The same can be said of the period before and after the special public viewing of

Kyoto Imperial Palace is held in spring and autumn, May 14 – 17 due to the Aoi Festival,

during Year-end and New Year’s holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event.
2. On Jan. 25, Apr. 25, Jul. 25 and Oct. 25, Nishi Hongan-ji Temple will serve

as the alternative for Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.
3. On Tuesdays (or Wednesday if Tuesday is a national holiday) in January, July, August,

and December and over the Year-end and New Year’s holidays, Nijo Castle is closed.

The tour will visit Ryoan-ji Temple instead.

After arriving at Kyoto Station, explore Kyoto individually until the Shinkansen departure time.
Free time until departure.

 

20:00 – 21:00
Departure: Kyoto Station
Head to Tokyo by Nozomi Shinkansen (reserved seat) from Kyoto Station..

22:30 – 23:20
Arrival: Shin-Yokohama Station/Shinagawa Station/Tokyo Station
Arrive at Shin-Yokohama/Shinagawa/Tokyo Station. The tour ends upon arrival.
