日米の若者を対象にしたこの交流事業が第3回目を迎えると聞き、大変嬉しく思います。また、本事業への参加の機会を頂き感謝します。 　交通機関や情報伝達の手段が発達し、世界はこれまでになく狭くなり、相互理解の必要性や相互依存の度合いがますます高まっています。このような状況を考えると、短期間ではありますが、本学園の生徒とアメリカの生徒が共に授業を受けたり、お互いに情報交換や意見交換をすることは両者にとって大変有意義なことです。 　このプログラムに多くの若者が参加し、大いに見聞を広めていただきたいと思います。

I am pleased and grateful to know that the Okinawa Youth Exchange Program is coming to the 3rd year. Also, I would like to thank and appreciate that we are a part of this program. Nowadays, the world is getting smaller and smaller because of the development of the transportation and communications, however we are realizing more than before that we need to be more understanding and inter-dependent. This program gives significantly valuable time to spend at classrooms or exchanging cultures and the information between students of Konan Gakuen School and students from the United States.I hope many students will participate this program to see the world and have broader perspectives at such a young age.
