HOKURIKU REGION is located in the northwestern part of Honshu, and lies along the SEA of JAPAN.
Our annual tour to this region focus on fabulous attractions and places, designed to offer unforgettable experiences that will put a smile on your face.

-Shirakawago
The village of SHIRAKAWA GO, a historic village, famous for the farm houses, built in a very unique architectural style called Gassho. The oldest one was built more than 300 years ago.
Takayama is best known for the craft of carpentry. Although there were shogunates who wanted to conquer Takayama, the high altitude and separation from other areas of Japan kept the area isolated, and Takayama developed their own culture over a 300 year period.

-Kenroku En
One of Japan’s three most famous garden, and is registered as Japanese National Historical Heritage, and the garden was also rated higher to a National Site of Special Scenic Beauty, which is equivalent to a National Treasure. Kenroku-en means a garden combining six attributes. Six attributes are spaciousness & seclusion, artifice & antiquity, water courses and panoramas. For a garden to have 3 or 4 attributes is very difficult, and to have all six in one garden is a prefect garden. The garden has strolling style landscape, incorporating unique designs with ponds, hills, cottages, tea houses, and streams connecting several ponds, hills and tree to achieve a perfect scenery for every season.

-Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route
A 22.9 miles long mountain route with a spectacular scenery between TATEYAMA,TOYAMA and OMACHI, NAGANO. To travel through the route, it takes 7 different transports with 5 different modes, namely funicular, bus, trolleybus, aerial tramway, and walking.
The route has been built very carefully, so as not to damage the nature around through Tateyama of Hida Mountains, including the Kurobe Dam. This arch shaped dam is 610 ft in height, and 1614ft in length is the largest dam in Japan.
